Mihaly Csikszentmihalyi, Ph.D., professor and former of the department of psychology at the University of Chicago, is currently The Davidson Professor of Management and director of the Quality of Live Center at Claremont Graduate University in California. He is autor of Flow. His books include the bestselling Beyond Boredom and Anxiety (1975), The Psychology of Optimal Experience (1990), Creativity : Flow and the Psychology of Discovery and Invention (1996), and Finding Flow : The Psychology of Engagement with Everything in Life (1997)°. He is a member of the American Academy of Education, the American Academy of Arts and Sciences, and the National Academy of Leisure Sciences.
